Chapter 28

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pens:

  1. The benefits of GOF, if any, have never been quantified and appear to be negligible;
  2. The risks have never been quantified but appear to be monumental;
  3. The cataclysmic impacts of a pandemic, multiplied by the frequency of escape, makes such research intolerable and unacceptable to society, and;
  4. The risks of zoonotic spillover have never been quantified and seem quite low. (pg. 165)

Autism Librarian study notes– Research question: how do the historical biolab incidents described in Chapter 27 assist in quantifying Number 2, albeit with missing data from government health agencies, university labs, military labs, etc.?

I would additionally apply these statements by the current Secretary of HHS to my questions at the end of Chapter 26.

Chapter 29

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pencils:

The reprint racket is particularly lucrative and corrupting. The pharmaceutical company typically pays mercenary researchers -so-called “biostitutes”- to conduct a rigged (and often fatally flawed) study touting one of its drugs. The journal publishes the study knowing that it can cash in by selling reprints back to the company. The drug company purchases the reprints at a premium, then its reps hand them out to tens of thousands of doctors. (pg. 170)

Autism Librarian study notes– the section does not mention the FDA; however, is the implication, then, by the current Secretary of HHS, that the FDA may approve drugs by pharmaceutical companies in spite of a “fatally flawed” study, the journal conducts a “reprint racket” that results in lucrative benefits for the journal, and citizens of the USA are potential victims of the consequences of the drug promoted by doctors due to the “reprint racket”?

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. typewrites:

Angry questions about gross inconsistencies in the Lancet study by hundreds of doctors and scientists worldwide forced an investigation that revealed that the researchers had based their consequential defamations of hydroxychloroquine on a giant database that didn’t actually exist. … The New England Journal of Medicine, which has a similar quiver of conflicts, had to simultaneously retract its own article, also published in May, based on the same fraudulent database. (pg. 173)

Autism Librarian study notes– Research question: in the context of the section on publications against hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine as treatments for Covid-19, and criticisms of remdesivir of being a “deadly and useless remedy,” is the implication by the current Secretary of HHS that the FDA approved a “deadly” drug supposedly for the treatment of Covid-19 that resulted in ‘injury or death’ to citizens of the USA in addition to the deaths from Covid-19 itself?

Under the current Secretary of HHS, does remdesivir remain approved by the FDA, where the FDA as an agency is supposed to be subordinate to the position of the Secretary of HHS? If the drug remains approved, what implications does the Secretary of HHS provide the citizens of the USA regarding the authority-structure of the USA government?

Is the implication, also, by the current Secretary of HHS, as the publications of the New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet may have influenced recommendations provided by USA government health agencies NIH/CDC/FDA on the management of Covid-19, that such “defamations” against hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine resulted in ‘injury or death’ to the citizens of the USA?
