Field Observations of Diverse Primate Colonies Confined to a Banana Grove: Intra-Colony Prosocial Behaviors are Mediated by Inter-Colony Food-Compiling Behaviors via the Reinforcement Schedules of Anti-Social Intra-Colony Behaviors

August 26, 2026

Field research begins:
Wait for them to make amends.
Goal: prosocial friends.

Did you climb the tree?
Good for you, cymbal monkey!
Now, put on blue jeans,
big banana eat.
Are suit-blue capuchins mean
when you chimpanzee?
Primate big ‘n’ fat;
did you want to become that
sleeping in branched flats?
Who’s the big baboon
stealing under the full moon
others’ hard-earned food?

Look! Monkey-Milgram
ordering monkey-pilgrims!
And look! New research:
Monkey-Zimbardo’s
gorilla prison guard-foes
playing novel roles.
Look! Skinner-monkeys:
packs of new reinforcees
of banana thieves!
Primordial soup:
selfish monkey genes unlooped
flicking Dawkins-poop.
Oh look! Rich monkeys
gathered their banana trees…
formed society:
Monkey Colony
of Authoritarian
Pyrite Decorum.

This unethical
design is too radical.
We should end it now.
Results prosocial:
Friends are friends who make amends.
Insults unsocial.
